Capdesk has a world class marketing team working on exciting and innovative projects. We operate across the entire funnel, from drawing in prospective clients with zero prior knowledge of Capdesk all the way through to producing content that helps our Sales team convert leads into customers that we are here to support. Our team covers the following specialisms: content, community management, events, performance marketing, growth, product marketing and marketing operations. At any given time you’ll find us working collaboratively on new campaigns, while each getting on with some independent projects. Variety is the spice of life for Marketing!

Career progression
" As per our team manifesto, we are unique in that our work literally touches every part of the business. We need to be aware of product changes, what's working for the sales team, customer success and even support finance and people ops. This means there are plenty of opportunities when it comes to things to do. But success means doing them efficiently, often collaboratively and with meaningful outcomes. We check in on a personal development regularly and do an overall review at the end of each quarter. We help everyone in the team to be the best in class in their spaces."

I check Capdesk’s social media channels for news, updates and to check today’s post has gone out smoothly.

Team time
Most days I have a catch up with someone from the team – content, partnerships or social media-related.

Miscellaneous
Ooh, there’s a reminder that it’s time for my #virtual-catch-up so I can get to know colleagues in different international locations. See you in 30 mins…

Ad hoc tasks
We run workshops and webinars, so there’s usually ad hoc tasks to make sure these activities run smoothly.

Last but not least
I check that our social media content is lined up for the next day, check notifications and close my laptop for the evening!

I’m starving
Time for some food and a quick walk to get away from my desk!

Collaboration
A call with CS or Sales to collaborate, figure out how we can support each other or ask for help with projects!

Designer has shared this month’s customer newsletter template with me, so it’s time to write the copy and populate the template for review.

Caredesk committee
We meet every two weeks to discuss sustainability or mental health initiatives for the workplace.

Community
I spend time researching and planning activity to help our thriving community of Capdesk advocates grow.
